the Fox Lake Reserve, Ontario. CreeTech
specializes in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), forest information management, custom
software development and map publishing.

The Mushkegowuk Council
of is the result of the collective will of the Mushkegowuk Cree communities on the James
Bay Coast and those within the Southern Traditional inland boundaries. Members are bound by political/ historical and
family ties and have chosen to gather to form the Traditional/ Political Governance
Structure for the Region. The collective will of these communities represent a total
population in excess of 10,000 First Nation people.

Wakenagun provides a wide variety of programs and services for our
communities that include: commercial and business financing, business advisory and support
services, community economic development strategic planning support, and financing for
micro-community economic development projects.

Community Futures (CF) Program supports sixty-one Community Futures Development
Corporations (CFDCs). Twenty-four of the
CFDCs are located in the North while the remaining thirty-seven serve rural Eastern and
Southern Ontario. CFDCs offer a wide variety of programs and services supporting community
economic development and small business growth.

Northwatch is a regional coalition comprised of environmental and
citizen organizations, and individual members throughout northeastern Ontario. Northwatch
is currently working with members and member groups to improve forest management, promote
community involvement in mine monitoring and management, and prevent northeastern Ontario
from becoming the receiving ground for foreign wastes.
